Word's still broke...

The last day of Vacation Bible School was amazing! Here's a little riddle for you: What do you get when you have four pies, three pitchers of semi-solid Jello, a couple hundred sprinkles, three bags of powdered sugar, one pastor and a ton of kids anxious to chuck jumbo marshmallows at him? Give up? You get something a bit like this:

And then this:

Which starts to look a bit like this:

Then of course this:

And ends looking like this:

Sooo... yeah. Very fun and productive way to finish off VBS.

-`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves. Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome raths outgrabe.-

Priceless! I think its such a testament to a love for Christ when people like your pastor are willing to go through that for the children. I can remember seeing our pastor take pies to the face, etc. when I was in VBS. It was always a load of fun!

P.S. And as in uffish thought he stood, the Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, came whiffling through the tulgey wood, and burbled as it came!

Since I've been alive I've went to this church and of the three pastors that it's had since I've been born this one definitely gets the most involved with the kids. He also runs a small private school for the church with his wife that has twenty-ish kids (pre-k to twelfth grade) and he sacrifices a good amount of time running the school to establish good christian fundamentals in the kids.

P.S. I love when people understand my Lewis Carroll references. :)
